I will be going to Svalbard, Greenland, and Iceland. In June.
WAIT. WHAT?
So many new things.
My head’s been spinning a bit.
Blog…new. Trip to Washington D.C…New. Camera set up…Brand spanking new. Ideas for curriculum and ideas for outreach…New and New.
Sometimes I feel a bit outside of my comfort zone. I wonder if this is what a new fourth grader feels like in my class?
When I have had the time, I have been researching where I am going. Pictures are good to. I asked former Grosvenor Teacher Fellows that have been to where I am going if I could “borrow” some of their pictures for this blog. That way I can share about it right now.
Dr. Julia Sheldon, a 2014 Fellow said that I was welcome to use her photos! She circumnavigated Svalbard last year. My “header” is an awesome picture of a polar bear that she took. I really like the composition. Thanks Julia!
